The Franchise System in Türkiye
Since the economic changes that occurred after 1980, some of brands widely used abroad have entered the Turkish Market. Among the most important sectors in this ecosystem in Türkiye are fast-food, cosmetics, and clothing. A system that serves as an alternative for small and medium-sized enterprises in Türkiye is franchising. In order to ensure the development and proper implementation of this system in Türkiye, the Turkish Franchising Association (UFRAD) was established in 1991.
